A Supportive Therapist

Brain Injury

We offer ABA services for children with cognitive impairment due to brain injuries.  ABA is a proven therapy to help children who have sustained traumatic brain injuries (TBI).  Children with TBI may experience challenges with social skills, expressive and receptive communication, staying on task, compliance and a host of others.  These may be skills or areas in which your child thrived prior to the injury.  These may be challenges your child has experienced throughout life, if the injury happened during or prior to birth. Services for children with TBI include in home ABA, in school consultation and parent training.  We will work with you and your child to address your concerns, assess your child’s needs, work on developing and mastering skills, and replace inappropriate behaviors with appropriate behaviors. During the course of ABA treatment, your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will consult and collaborate with your child’s medical team, as well as any other therapists providing care for your child.
