Connect with other parents
XYZ ABA understands that an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) diagnosis, or any special need, affects the entire family unit. It is easy for parents to feel lost, alone and overwhelmed. You may not know or connect with other parents of children with special needs. XYZ ABA sets out to connect parents to to help you feel less isolated and more supported.
Helping You
Not only are you looking out for the very best interest of your child, but you also need to take care of yourself. Self care is not only important for you, but your child as well. You cannot help someone else to the best of your ability if you have these feelings of isolation and are overwhelmed.
Share ideas
Parents are constantly questioning themselves, always second guessing their decisions and actions. Parents of children with special needs do so even more, and may not have someone to turn to when they need to vent, who understands what they are going through, or may have even been faced with a similar challenge. We strive to provide a safe space for parents to meet and share their ideas. It is easy for someone to listen and offer advice, however, bouncing ideas off of someone in a similar situation is invaluable. XYZ parent support groups allows you to share thoughts and ideas.
