XYZ ABA is an all in one ABA therapy provider for children and their families of all needs and capabilities.  We empower children to live their lives to their fullest potential and provide families with the tools to help make this happen.  Founded in Westfield, NJ, XYZ is spearheaded by our founder and Clinical Director.

XYZ was formed and designed to provide quality ABA services by talented and dedicated clinicians. Being in the field for years, we have seen what is out there.  We ensure that out clinicians are not overworked; this allows each person to provide their absolute best for the children and families that we work with. Overwhelming a clinician can lead to burnout and a high turnover rate.  Consistency is key and we aim to maintain this consistency.

Our goal is to help and guide you and your child in your journey.  This includes (1)teaching and increasing age appropriate skills, (2)decreasing maladaptive behaviors and (3)increasing appropriate replacement behaviors.  All services offered, whether parent training, in school consultation, direct ABA therapy, or social skills groups, are based on these three ideas.

Our Founder's Story

Founder: XYZ ABA was founded by Lauren Duek, MS, BCBA, JD.  Lauren discovered her passion of working with and helping children at a young age.  Lauren is an alumnus of the State University of New York at Binghamton and Fordham University School of Law.  Upon graduation from law school, Lauren worked in the legal field for several years.  While finding the work interesting and rewarding, Lauren never truly felt that she was fulfilling her passion.  Eventually, Lauren made the decision to leave the legal field behind and follow her dream of working with children with special needs.  Lauren credits her time in the legal field with providing her with a unique set of tools that aid her in helping children as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  These skills include analytical thinking and problem solving.  Lauren is a trusted BCBA who works in children’s home, in the school setting and in the community.  Lauren takes a whole family approach to ABA, believing that working with parent and/or caregivers is just as important as direct care with the child.  Lauren’s experience ranges from the home setting, to school settings, pediatric centers, clinics and and the community.  She lives by the motto “follow your dreams.”

Our Culture

XYZ ABA was started with the passion of our founder to focus on the progress of the children and families that we serve.  Each clinician’s caseload is purposefully small, allowing for a greater focus for each child and family.  We make sure that all XYZ staff members are trained properly on their role, as we hold each person to the highest standard of care.  We provide consistency and continuity, the most important aspects for success in ABA.
